GOP Time’s Up

Today the President has really shown his true colors. His slogan “Make America Great Again” is really saying “Make America White Again” . We as a nation of IMMIGRANTS should not allow this administration to change policies based on a racist agenda. Trump is not a president of all American but a president of White people. I purposely spelled president with lower caps. The GOP is allowing his views to divide this nation and reverse the progress the U.S. have gain. It is time for us to make a stand and remove every GOP in office and replace them with true American who will represent the will of the people. The GOP is allowing Trump to wreck this nation and they are making excuses for him only because he is a party member. Trump has call Haiti and Africa a “SHITHOLE” and stated we should not allow the people from there into the United States. We as American should have each other backs and have backs of everyone else from other countries who have came here. Right now I feel America is not better than any other country because of this president.  Let’s face it, Trump do not know what he is doing in DC, and we can not sit here and accept his foolish views, lies, and dumb accusations and a norm because that’s just Trump being Trump. He must be remove now alone with his administration. Let’s Stand UP and tell the GOP TIME’S UP.

Texas high school wide receiver recruit throws Hail Mary touchdown — to himself

Ben Rohrbach

In early April, Manvel (Texas) High junior wide receiver Gary Haynes told Rivals.com, “I’m really working on my speed right now. Like my straightline speed, like track speed. That’s why I’m running track.”

Less than a month later, Haynes’ offseason work appears to be paying early dividends, as the unranked Class of 2015 recruit showed off his blazing speed by throwing a 50-yard pass to himself in a Vine post.

We all remember former Vikings quarterback Brad Johnson throwing a touchdown to himself against the Panthers in 1997, but that was a cakewalk compared to this ridiculous display of athleticism.

Haynes amassed team highs of 52 catches for 876 yards and 13 touchdowns this past fall, leading the Mavericks (12-2) to the Class 5A, Division II state quarterfinals. Clearly a jack of all trades, he also rushed for two scores, returned kicks and played cornerback for Manvel. Based on his performance in the embedded video, sophomore QB D’Eriq King might have some competition next season, too.

Haynes’ only reported scholarship offer comes from the University of Houston, although he told Rivals his top choices are Texas Tech and Texas A&M. So, get those offers ready, Kliff Kingsbury and Kevin Sumlin.

Magic and the other LA team

NBA Rumors: Magic Johnson trying to buy Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers are the talk of basketball for all of the wrong reasons thanks to the racist comments allegedly made by team owner Donald Sterling. In wake of his comments, there has been an outpouring of support for the idea of taking the team away from him and selling the team to new ownership.According to Adrian Wojnarowski from Yahoo! Sports, one potential owner who is jockeying to rescue the Clippers is Los Angeles Dodgers owner Magic Johnson.

Magic’s Dodgers group is angling for a Southern California sports empire. … Between the Dodgers and Clippers, Magic Johnson could be the face of two championship contenders. … ”This is 100 percent Magic’s plan,” a league official intimately involved in the buying and selling of franchises told Yahoo Sports.

Johnson was directly named in the phone recordings in which Sterling went on his racist rant and while the NBA would have to pay Sterling a substantial amount of money to go away, there seems to be no price tag on getting him out of the league and getting the Clippers into new hands.

Should those hands end up being those of Magic Johnson and his Los Angeles Dodgers group, then this sick and disgusting story will have a surprisingly satisfying outcome.

At the same Rotary Club event where he mocked conservatives for being too wimpy to pass immigration reform, House Speaker John Boehner had other revealing things to say. To wit:

[To] repeal Obamacare … isn’t the answer. The answer is repeal and replace. The challenge is that Obamacare is the law of the land. It is there and it has driven all types of changes in our health care delivery system. You can’t recreate an insurance market overnight. Secondly, you’ve got the big hospital organizations buying up doctor’s groups because hospitals get reimbursed two or three times doctor’s do for the same procedure just because it’s a hospital. Those kinds of changes can’t be redone. So the biggest challenge we are going to have is—I do think at some point we’ll get there—is the transition of Obamacare back to a system that empowers patients and doctors to make choices that are good for their own health as opposed to doing what the government is dictating they should do.

There’s an element of “no sh*t” here. At a practical level, straightforwardly repealing Obamacare right now would be utterly chaotic. But it’s a notable departure nonetheless.

Despite the namecheck, Boehner’s not even really promoting the “repeal and replace.” He’s admitting that the best conservatives can hope for is a phased regression toward something more GOP-friendly. Or perhaps “replace and repeal.”

But if you don’t believe me, check out his deputy Eric Cantor, who asserted the following in a five-page memo to GOP House members this afternoon.

“Building an America that Works requires that we … [r]eform our healthcare system by replacing Obamacare with policies that improve patient choice, access to doctors and hospitals, and lower costs.” The word repeal appears nowhere in the entire document. The GOP platform has speciated, from “repeal” to “repeal and replace” and now “replace.” They just happen to, you know, not have an alternative or anything close to one.

I know the politics of Obamacare are supposed to run in one direction, straight at Democrats. But if you believe that, ask yourself if you think House Republicans would vote on this bill again this Congress. And if you believe the answer is no, why not?

Teen accused in school mass stabbing facing 21 attempted homicide chargesBy Rande Iaboni, CNN

(CNN) — The teenager accused of seriously injuring students at a Pittsburgh-area high school in a mass stabbing now stands charged with 21 counts of attempted homicide, a Pennsylvania district attorney said Friday.

Previously, 16-year-old Alex Hribal had been charged — as an adult — with four counts of attempted homicide and 21 counts of aggravated assault. Westmoreland County District Attorney John Peck told CNN about the updated charges.

The teen allegedly rampaged through the halls of Franklin Regional Senior High School on the morning of April 9, using two kitchen knives to slash those in his path.

The school is in Murrysville, a middle-class enclave with about 20,000 people located roughly 20 miles east of Pittsburgh.

Topeka Says No To The First Lady. WOW!!

On May 17, 1954 the Supreme Court of the United States handed down a unanimous decision that not only outlawed school segregation policies, but also helped the civil rights movement’s quest to end Jim Crow laws affecting everything from black getting a seat on buses to voting rights and everything in between. This year marks the 60th anniversary of what is known as Brown vs The Board of Education of Topeka, KS and also the first time Michelle Obama was asked to be a keynote speaker for the Topeka school district high school graduation. Unfortunately, some parent and student are no pleased with the invite stating her presents will mean fewer seats from family and friends.  “I’m a single mother who has raised [my son] for 18 years by myself,” Tina Hernandez, the parent of a Topeka High School senior Dauby Knight, told the Associated Press. Many parents and student spoke out last week at a school board meeting including Ms. Hernandez, urging them to un-invite the First Lady of the United States. Apparently Kansas is not united with the other states and the First Lady. Many say this is not  about race nor about disrespecting the FLOTUS, but clearly about directing the attention on the student. “People think it’s a great opportunity, but it’s the graduates’ time. They are getting that diploma that they worked so hard for,” Taylor Gifford, 18, who started an online petition to urge the district to reconsider its plans, told the Associated Press. “Families are feeling that they are being cheated out of the loved ones special day.” According to the NYPost.com  Ron Harbaugh, spokesman for the Topeka school district, said Friday discussions were under way to work out the logistics and planning for the event, including how many tickets each family would be allotted.

“We will have a clearer picture of what’s going on,” Harbaugh said.

Harbaugh said officials asked the president or first lady to speak at graduation as a tie-in with the anniversary of the Brown decision, which outlawed school segregation. The district plans to place a priority on seating students and their families, and could broadcast the event to an overflow room at a hotel adjacent to the graduation arena for those unable to find a seat inside in statement to the Post. Word has surface that each student would be able to invite seven guest to the graduation but to Ms. Giiford that is totally not good enough and stated “I  really would like it to have a peaceful solution, but there is so much misinformation going on”.

Michelle Obama, who started  Let’s Move! a campaign to end childhood obesity in the U.S., is a prime example of what the Brown vs The Board of Education of Topeka decision help black people accomplish by allow equal education for all races in the United States. She is the perfect candidate for keynote speaker on such an important day in a young adults life but some just don’t see it that way.

“No disrespect for the first lady, and it’s amazing that she wants to come speak, I just think it doesn’t belong at graduation,” Abbey Rubottom, a Topeka High School senior described herself as a “die-hard Democrat” but doesn’t like the idea of Obama sharing the stage with graduates, told the Associated Press.

Many have being commenting on different articles about this subject on different website in favor and against Ms. Obama being the keynote speaker. One comment from Traboe writes:

” If they don’t want her their loss. I don’t see this about race; just another example of how younger generations are unable to look outside themselves and their situations in order to see a big picture. Many of them probably do not even know what Brown v. Board of education is. Highschool graduation a big day? Yeah if that’s as far as you plan to go in your pursuit of education.

Another commenter name Joe Valdez writes:

“By the way several African Americans signed the petition. And Please don’t refer to them as Uncle Toms , They are all married with Black women , they all work hard to help stabilize the Black community , unlike The Obama’s who have done nothing for Black except for talking . Have you seen the CNN documentary called ” Chicago Land” ? Blacks have to be coaxed with MC Donald food coupons to attend schools/ Balck on Black Murder out of control including this Easter weekend where 75 Blacks were shot by Fellow Blacks, 7 were killed ? How about Detroit being Bankrupted by Blacks . Obama better take care of his own city Chicago , Kansas have the 3rd highest rated schools in America, whereas Chicago Black high scholl grads are reading at a grade 6 level.”

While another comment by Anon states:

“This article leaves out a LOT of information… She is not speaking at ONE high school; several schools will have to combine their ceremonies. As a result, the graduates’ names will not be read, and diplomas will not be presented. I wholeheartedly agree that it is an amazing honor to have the First Lady address the graduates, but her address is actually REPLACING graduation.”

What I would like to say to all protester is that it seem to me that even if she don’t speak a keynote will still be assigned to speak and the names will still not be read, and diplomas will still not be presented. To many people fall for the propaganda because they refuse to use their own judgement. One guy (Joe Valdez) said “unlike The Obama’s who have done nothing for Black except for talking”, as if he cares. His name clearly says he is not of Africa descent. And the article was about the First Lady, why is he commenting on Chicago and Detroit when the article is about Kansas. Just goes to show you that simply being an agent can cause disruption and misinformation among many. So to all of you. I say to you, don’t listen to the BS other are saying because the importance of that day alone is of great significance and to have a person of that notable worth speak at ones graduation can leave and impression for a lifetime.
